In a world that is becoming increasingly digital, this very tangible brand book project is a real treasure. I have had a long relationship with Garde Hvalsøe - the Danish creators of bespoke kitchens par excellence. The brand book shown here is a recent remake of our ongoing project that spans eight years of collaboration and numerous editions.

This book that you hold in your hands is the result of a whole year’s process of documenting our work, picking the proper papers, colours and layout to match the images perfectly - to finally waiting eagerly by the door for the boxes with the final books to arrive. Now it is our hope that you will enjoy studying the pages, as much as we have enjoyed working on it, and that our love of fine craftsmanship and unique materials will shine through the pages.
Garde Hvalsøe was established in 1993, and in 2013 we were proud to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. Today our vision is still the same as it was 20 years ago – to create unique furniture and interiors with an ever-present focus on pure and honest design. Behind the company today are three cabinet makers and one architect – united in a common professional pride rooted deeply in the nordic design tradition. We don’t think the recipe for crafting good quality is particularly complex, it only requires excellent materials, and to carefully process them close to the source where they were conceived and designed. Our thinking is never trend-driven and when we build kitchens, furniture and furnishings in Denmark and abroad, our aim is to achieve the highest possible level of both aesthetics and functionality by the absence of unnecessary details. Dedication is something we share with all of our customers, and we go far to ensure our shared project will be an experience to
remember. As we meet the majority of our clients through word of mouth, maybe we have already had the pleasure to meet in person. And who knows, maybe before long we will get
the chance to make a dream project of yours come true?
